Fast-paced rhymes accompanied by a sick blend of illustration and stop-motion make Todor & Petru by The Thunderclaps a killer music video. This piece was created by students from the French visual art school, Gobelins and they did an amazing job. Personally, I think this form of videography would make the best live-action anime movie.

Good god I love this song.

I've been listening to The Pierces for a couple years now and have had the pleasure of seeing them perform live at Bowery Ballroom in NYC... I completely love these ladies! They're wild southern gypsy women who know how to make amazing music and did I mention they were hilarious?

The sister duo is now under new management (Polydor Records) and have just released their new UK EP, Love You More, which was co-produced by Guy Berryman of Coldplay. If you heart them, which I'm sure you will, buy their EP when it hits the US!

Anywhoo... here are some of my favorite songs from them. Enjoy!

Awesome taxonomy poster by Pop Chart Lab. I love this!

Birds on the Wires from Jarbas Agnelli on Vimeo.

One day Jarbas Agnelli was reading his newspaper when he saw a picture of birds on electric wires which immediately fascinated him. He noticed that the positions of the birds looked like a piece of musical notation. He set about recreating the melody based on where the birds were perched.

He contacted the photographer who had taken the original picture who was also intrigued by the music. He informed his Editor and the whole idea was turned in to a story in the newspaper. Agnelli, spurred on, then created this animation with the photo, the music and the score.

We love Nature ... Nature is perfect.

A and I have been obsessing over the song "Davey Jones" by The Greencards. Have a listen.

Davey Jones by The Greencards

My favorite lady duo! I cannot wait for their new album!

Magic! Love her!

I didn't think much of the song before I saw the video. I love the video so much for some reason and thought I'd share!

Love this band, love this song ... and this video kicks ass, literally.

B: Stevie Nicks is essential to my existence. I haven't listened to her in 6 years until yesterday, when I found her cds tucked away at my parent's house. Stevie is wild and invokes magic with her voice and songs... and she has a special place in my heart. I found this unreleased track that's just gorgeous. Have a listen.

Blue Water

This is an amazingly frightening and entrapping music video.

One of my favorite songs.

Such a great, little animation.
